The usual Galaxy S25 models presented in January of this year began with the promise of seven updates to Android 15 and Android 22. However, the Enterprise Edition, which was initiated for business users in February, goes further. Information about this was published on the company’s data protection platforms on the Samsung Knox website. This means that devices will be relevant by at least 2033.
Recently, additional support has been possible thanks to Qualcomm and Google, which has announced eight years of support for Snapdragon 8 Elite chips. Samsung seems to have decided to apply this advantage to corporate devices.
It is still unknown whether this policy will spread to ordinary models.
