Experts warn them to replace traditional sunscreen with food additives. Even if you accept them, you still need to apply SPF, says Los Angeles, a dermatologist, a doctor of medical sciences.
Oral sun creams often include a mixture of vitamins, minerals, carotenoids (pigments) and polyphenols (plant compounds). Most of these tablets have a polypodium leucotomos (P. Leucotomos or PLE) extract. They may also include algae Astaxantin and Lycopy’s component B3 – Nicotinamide vitamin.
At the same time, a small number of studies were carried out for the effect of food additives to protect the sun. Therefore, it is difficult to say what effects they will have and whether they have them.
It has been scientifically proven that PLE has antioxidant and anti -inflammatory properties. This may give the effect of protection against ultraviolet radiation due to the neutralization of free radicals. This is not observed when using local sunscreen. True, there was a small example of most studies containing Ple, it only contained animals, or it was carried out in Petri’s cups.
Even if you buy food additives, be sure to apply your normal sunscreen. The American Academy of Dermatology recommends SPF at least 30. It is best to consult a dermatologist before receiving additives.
