As part of the new study, scientists gradually introduced 21 adults, peanuts and peanuts with increasing amounts to peanuts. At the end of the experiment, 14 participants can eat a handful of peanuts without an allergic reaction.

According to the 2021 study, approximately 2% of the population of Western countries contains allergies of Arahis. Apparently this problem is becoming increasingly widespread.

Participants of the new study were people between the ages of 18 and 40, where Guy’s and Stomas’ NHS Foundation Trust had a serious diagnosis of allergy to the peanuts in the hospital.

It all started with the fact that volunteers were given to try small amounts of peanuts mixed with food. The first dose was 0.8 mg – less than 0.3 percent of all peanuts. If this was well transferred, 1.5 mg was given half an hour, then – 3 mg in half an hour (1 g of peanuts).

Those who could eat 1.5 or 3 mg without allergic reactions continued to use this amount for two weeks every day. After that, they returned to the clinic and were under surveillance.

In addition, flour participants passed real peanuts, peanut oil or peanut products.

The results of the study were published in Scientific Magazine Allergy.
