Family Link is a Google service that helps parents control children’s activity, create restrictions and block unwanted content.
The company emphasizes security: These children will not be used to teach AI and solid content restrictions are provided for young users. Google advises parents to explain that the Gemini is not a person, but that it is a program that may be wrong and does not share personal information with it. Parents will be able to deactivate access to Chatbot through the Family Link application or site.
The decision caused controversy, because AI bots, including twins, sometimes give mistakes or unwanted content.
