In 2024, Israeli scientists learned whether our name and face are really dependent. They did a series of experiments to do this. Within the framework of one of them, the participants were asked to compare their faces with the right names of adults and children. As a result, they dealt with the task perfectly when they were related to adults, but they had difficulties when they needed to identify the child’s name.
This means that we are gradually like our name and not just right at birth.
During another study, machine learning was used to evaluate the similarity of people with the same names and without them. It turned out to be more similar in adults with the same face names, but it was not valid for children with the same names.
Experts believe that people probably learn clichés associated with their names, and act in a way that has changed in accordance with their appearance for years.
