The company is developing compact AI models that work on cheap game cards (GPU), not in expensive server clusters, such as big market players. Fastino creates models that are optimized for specific tasks such as removing secret data or summary of documents. According to General Manager Ash Lewis, it is faster, more accurate and cheaper than the large language models (LLM) that require GPU solutions. For example, Fastino models can only respond to Milisaniye using only one coin – the data processing unit in AI.
Although the names of the first users have not yet been announced, the company’s approach attracts corporate customers. The Fastino team plans to expand and hires researchers with a “non -standard approach to the creation of AI”.
