The results of a new study in which experts from the University of Arizona discovered how loneliness during adolescence affects stress levels and drinking later. If a person under the age of 12 is alone, it turns out that this caused him stress in his youth and he is more likely to have problems with alcohol in the future.

More than 300 people participated in this study. All of them were university students. They found that people with higher levels of loneliness before age 12 experienced more stress in early adulthood, which often led to problems with alcohol and alcohol.

The results of the study were published in Addictive Behaviors Reports.
