Two members of the US Congress – John Dollenar and Raja Krishnamoorti – sent a letter to prevent the entry of the government and allies into devices around the world.
They believe that Huawei works closely with Chinese special services, and therefore Harmonyos can become a tool for digital espionage and control. The letter refers to the need to control the architecture and code of the system to understand how safe it is.
Now Harmonyos is used in smartphones, tablets, cars and smart equipment. In the near future, Huawei plans to release the first PC in Harmonyos and expand cooperation with car consoles such as Toyota and BMW.
