Johni Ive, who previously chaired the design department in Apple, began collaborating with Openai and leader Sam Oltman two years ago. The IO attempt itself emerged to develop and produce new devices that focus on the use of artificial intelligence about a year ago.
As Sam Oltman says in a video published with the announcement, the new product line is designed to help people use AI for the application of creativity and ideas. The report also said that the prototype of the first device is already ready and received the approval of the leadership.
After the process is completed, IO will be part of Openai. At the same time, the Joni Ive and Lovefrom team will play an important role in creating designs and concepts for both IO products and other areas of Openai.
