Despite the general decrease in demand for smartphones, interest in folding models continues to increase. In the first four months of 2025, the sales of such devices increased by 32% compared to the same period last year, 29% higher than 2023 and 38% more than 2022. This is due to the improvement of flexible screen technologies that make smartphones more durable and suitable due to Chinese manufacturers.

At the beginning of 2025, the average folding smartphones cost was about 110 thousand rubles, which was below the 2022 indicator with a price of approximately 121 thousand rubles. This makes such devices more attractive for customers.

According to MTS, the leader of the folding market for sale with parts and money continues to be Samsung with a share of approximately 53-57%. In 2025, the Huawei brand ranked second, which significantly increased its share up to 25%in monetary terms. The third most popular Tecno is about 7-11%.

The most sought -after model in the number of things sold was Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6, and leaders lead Huawei Mate X6 in terms of income.
