The project enables the delivery of goods using autonomous boats. This technology should combine Arkhangelsk with the distant coastal and arctic regions where ordinary transport often faces difficulties.
The development of the project is located in the “XI Project” company specialized in sea robotics. The first experimental flight is planned in the summer of 2025. First, it is planned to deliver cargo to the islands in the North Dvina Delta. Then – test the path to the Solovesky Islands.
The aim of the tests is to determine how effectively and safely it is possible to use unmanned ships to carry the north goods.
