Probably a complete list of devices that will not receive updates is quite comprehensive. For example, iOS 26:
- iPhone Xs
- iPhone Xs Max
- iPhone XR
IPados 26 7. Generation will not take iPad and MacOS 26 will not reach:
- MacBook Air (Intel, 2020)
- MacBook Pro (2018)
- Mac Mini (2018)
- Imac Pro (2017)
This information has not yet been officially verified, but is based on reliable sources. As the application shows, even if the device receives a new operating system, it is not a fact that it will support all basic functions.
For example, with iOS 18, only one of the iPhone can use the possibilities of Apple Intelligence.
The official list of compatible devices will already be known in WWDC 2025 – the conference starts on June 10th. If your gadget is on the “Fallen” list, you may consider changing it with a newer model.
