According to the authors of the study, from the technical point of view, digital sound quality is significantly exceeding the vinil.
Experts remembered that vinylin hides in physical form in the form of microscopic tubers on the road where the cylinder moves. However, therefore, the carrier is limited: very deep low frequencies can cause the needle “jump” of the needle, and high frequencies are not produced with adequate accuracy.
There is no such problem in the digital format – the sound is coded in the form of millions of counts per second and allows the original waves to be as accurate as possible.
The authors state that the vinyl connection is often described by nostalgia, not with the objective sound quality of the vinyl connection, with the properties of mastering and high quality reproductive equipment used by analog format lovers.
