All three of them personally faced personal data leakage, and 40% of the victims later recorded their attempts to hack their accounts. These data were obtained during the study of the Network Insurance broker, including 1219 residents of 17 major cities.
Among the most common results of leaks, spam and fraudulent calls (40%), hacking attempts (41%) and 6.6%of victim cases lost money. Only 13% of the participants did not notice any results after dangering the data.
Geographical painting shows the differences between regions. In Tyumen, Novosibirsk and Samara, personal experience of personal leaks 43-46% of the inhabitants, in Krasnodar – only 22%. Petersburgers more often encountered a problem (30% against 37%) and the passwords more actively (46% against 53%).
Among the leaked data, contacts (56%) from passwords and phone books (55%) are most common. Lessly common, attackers achieved access to bank details (25%) and passport data (9%).
