At the beginning of April, the United States was banned by the H20 supply, so NVIDIA had to cancel customer orders and stop production in TSMC Taiwanese capacities. According to the president of Nvidia Jensen Juan, the restructuring of the production line on other chips has already occurred and it will not work to return to H20 – it may take up to nine months.
Nevertheless, Nvidia said that it was recently planned to continue H20 sales to China, but it would need the approval of American authorities.
It is also known that the company is working on a new graphic processor that can meet the requirements of American export rules and sell it in the Chinese market.
