The model was able to solve 5 out of 6 complex problems and scored 35 out of 42 points. For comparison, only 10% of 630 participants received a gold medal this year.
The tasks in the Olympics seem simple, but require “creativity and non -standard thinking”. Usually AI, repetitive tasks and large amounts of data, but have difficulties with creative or logical tasks. The model was able to solve problems as a person, clumsy and logical mathematical reasoning.
However, Openai does not plan to publish such a model in the near future. Even the next version of the GPT is probably the GPT-5-Will does not receive these opportunities.
