The Sportster family from Harley-Davidson has arrived. Meet the Nightster with Revolution Max V-twin engine in a slightly “loosened” version. However, it can be called such very conditionally, since we are talking about an engine with a volume of 9 cm and a power of 88.5 liters. in. (for comparison, the Sportster S has 121 hp).
The engine was presented at EICMA 2019 with the prospect of mass production. It is focused, in turn, on high performance in small and medium scales, which is largely made easier by gas distribution.
The body design of the Nightster is “inherited” from the Sportster S. It also has two subframes attached to the engine block. The difference is a significantly lower seat, a 19-inch front wheel and double rear wheel suspension. The fuel tank with a volume of 11.7 liters, unlike the eastern scheme, is located under the seats. And what is in the “legitimate” place of the tank is a decorative overlay of the upper air filter.

The Nightster’s simplified design (compared to the Sportster S) features a versatile performance speedometer with LCD effect, while the Sportster S has a Bluetooth-enabled color TFT display.
Bikers are expected to have three modes of operation – Road, Sport and Rain (road, sport, rain), power shift control, throttle control, engine braking, and ABS TC.
As revealed by the company, the Nightster is available in the US starting this month for $13,500. Gray and red will cost $400.
