The laboratory was digitized by the visual -worksel archives of the traditional culture that has been collected since the 1960s. These materials include legends, myths, ritual songs, instrumental music and the sounds of nature used in the music tradition of the peoples of North Asia. The archive includes data collected at 104 times from 1966 to 2010.
Researchers will now be able to work with audio, video and text materials, use modern technologies-ekin intelligence, 3D modeling and acoustic analysis. The laboratory also helps students and teachers to investigate and popularize the traditional culture by supporting the educational and scientific activities of the institute.
