In February 2021, Persevrance landed in the Jazero Crater and has traveled over 37 kilometers on the surface of the planet since then. For shooting, the Sherloc tool was used to the Rover Manipulator, which examines the composition of tissues and close stones. Sherloc works with the Watson camera that draws high -quality photos after illuminating objects with ultraviolet light.
The Sherloc-Watson system allows us to think about the details of stones and gravel that helps to understand how the Mars surface is formed.
Even funny findings like a stone -shaped stone are important for science: scientists give new data to the planet’s composition and history.
