Openai has previously used the Azure platform from Microsoft to serve artificial intelligence services (AI), including Chatgpt. The new agreement will allow the company to diversify its resources of cloud capacities and increase information resources to 4.5 Gigavatt – there will be enough energy to work about four million houses.

Oracle will manage the deployment of the infrastructure with Crusoe, who specializes in data centers for AI. The agreement for Oracle also carries financial risks: the company will have to have a significant funding on equipment and infrastructure, which will lead to an increase in debt burden.
