Fake ad clips about GTA 6 are circulating on YouTube. Visually beautiful clips suggest unrealistic changes to GTA. It also links to suspicious downloads.

Hopes of a successor to GTA 5 seem to be heavily exploited on YouTube. Several users watching GTA 5 related content have reported commercial clips available to them on YouTube. They are characterized by beautiful animations and real vehicle models that you can normally only see with a modification. Vice City forms the background of the fake clip. But the cable cars, a landmark in San Francisco, contradict this story. Also, several potential heroes can be seen performing different actions. You can also see the well-known interaction with the police.

So far, fake ads have not harmed users. At the end of the clip, a download button links to a questionable website that is said to contain game downloads. It is not recommended to believe this false information and click on links in such clips.
