The second proposed version of the route passes through the Yukatan and Kaiman Islands Peninsula. The star ship, until we reach the orbit: the previous 10 flights were all suborbital and not always successful. The new launch will be the first attempt to orbit the upper step of the rocket.
FAA is now evaluating the results of the environment and transportation. According to the agency, the movement of the flights during the launch may be temporarily violated.
After the separation, the second step will continue the path and the first – the super heavy accelerator – should return to the starter in Texas.
The public opinion debate of the project is planned on 7 October and the comments are accepted until 20 October.
