Apple is preparing to update its professional monitor. In the macOS 26.1 beta, references were found to devices called Pro Display XDR Camera and Pro Display XDR Desk View Camera.
Apparently, we are talking about a new generation of Pro Display XDR with a built-in electrical outlet. The system references the Center Stage and Desk View features that have already been used on other Apple devices.
The current Pro Display XDR was released in December 2019 and has no cameras or speakers, but costs $4,999.
