Airtel Cloud users will be able to leverage IBM solutions, including AI-ready servers, the companies said. These services will be available to customers in banking, healthcare, government and other regulated industries.
As part of the collaboration, IBM and Airtel will create two new multi-site regions in Mumbai and Chennai. By distributing data to different geographical regions, this architecture helps protect data and ensure uninterrupted operation of systems even in case of technical failures in certain regions.
