Sony Santa Monica added AMD’s FidelityFX Super Resolution 2.0 support to the PC version of God of War with the v1.0.12 patch. In addition to Deathloop and Farming Simulator 22, it is the third game to officially remove the red team’s new upgrade technique. Users can install the update immediately.

God of War has been available on PC since January 14, nearly three years after the PS4 version’s original release date in April 2018. Since its release, the game includes support for Nvidia’s dlss in addition to FSR 1.0. The latter is probably something to do with the unexpected addition of FSR 2.0, as AMD claims this version can be applied to games with dlss 2.X in less than three days.

So it seems unlikely that more dlss games will get support for FSR 2.0 anytime soon. Earlier last month, AMD announced a dozen other games that will use the scaler, including Microsoft Flight Simulator and EVE Online.
