The Exynos 2600 will be significantly better in the AI department, with 6x faster performance than the Apple A17 Pro on the iPhone 19 Pro. The graphics processor of the new chip also shows an increase of 75% and 14-15% compared to Apple. Compared to Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 Elite processor, Exynos 2600 will offer 30% more advanced AI capabilities and 29% better GPU performance.
The Exynos 2600 processor includes 10 cores clocked up to 3.80 GHz, while the modem is specifically designed to increase power efficiency. It is stated that to improve heat dissipation, Samsung has implemented a heat dissipation system (HPB) and branched plate-level structure technology (FOWLP). While Exynos chips were traditionally installed in devices sold in Korea and Europe, Snapdragon processors were preferred in the USA, Japan and China. However, Samsung now plans to use Exynos in all S26 series models, including the Ultra, which will be the first time since the Galaxy S22 series.
