Apple has cut production of the iPhone Air while increasing orders for the iPhone 17 and 17 Pro, Nikkei Asia reports.
The decision was made due to today’s iPhone Air. According to the publication, now the number of orders for the iPhone Air is so low that it is comparable to a phone whose production will finally end.
The company estimated that the iPhone Air would account for 10-15% of sales, but it turned out that these numbers wouldn’t help either. Currently, the Apple Store only has the iPhone Air in stock. Waiting time for iPhone 17 is 2-3 weeks, iPhone 17 Pro – 1-2 weeks. In this regard, Apple increased production of iPhone 17 by 5 million units.
