Broker “Tinkoff” will allow children to invest

Tinkoff will begin providing brokerage services to teens at the end of the week. Trading in securities will take place in a test mode, writes RBC.

According to the director of Tinkoff Investments, Dmitry Panchenko, the broker will “implement” the trading mode for several tens of thousands of clients, watch “how it works” and pay attention to its mistakes.

Transactions can only be made with parental consent. To open a child brokerage account, you will need the parent’s passport and the child’s birth certificate. The list of securities available for trading for children will be limited to the “main” Russian issuers.

According to the law of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation, a person under 18 years of age can open a brokerage account, but can only carry out operations with the written consent of his parents.
