For 66% of managers in the field of small and medium-sized companies, public relations support plays an important role. However, only 20% agreed that small businesses need a PR specialist to grow their business.
At the same time, 40% of the managers surveyed are sure that employees should combine the work of a public relations specialist with the performance of other official duties. The same number of entrepreneurs doubt the need to develop this area within the company.
This distribution broadly reflects the real situation in the labor market, the company’s analysts said. For example, when asked about the presence of a public relations specialist in their company, 34% answered that their organization has an employee whose transversal functions include public relations support of the company’s activities, only 17 % of respondents could boast of having a public relations. specialist directly.
Employer responses on decent wages ranged from 10,000 to 350,000 rubles per month, with an average of about 53,000 rubles.
In the next year, 36% do not plan to involve a PR specialist in the implementation of company tasks, only 5% are ready to turn to a professional for help.
After February 24, the demand for specialists in the field of marketing, advertising and public relations fell in Russia: the number of vacancies decreased by 44%, and the number of resumes increased by 11%, according to HeadHunter and the PR Perfect agency, calculated in April for Kommersant. .
