Games can be added to a video before uploading it using the “Add Link” option and selecting “Minigame”. Users will be able to play such a game by clicking on the link. There’s also the option to save the gameplay and then post it to TikTok.
The games are available in the US and UK versions of the app. It is developed by several third-party game studios, including Vodoo, Nitro Games, FRVR, Aim Lab, and Lotem.
TikTok has confirmed that they are testing in-app game features.
