The Ministry of Industry and Trade has adjusted the list of imported goods that can be imported into Russia through parallel imports. Imported perfumes and auto parts were added to the list, Renault cars and some medicines were excluded.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade allowed the importation of imported perfumes into Russia through parallel imports

The Ministry of Industry and Commerce ruled on the changes that affected the list of goods for parallel imports.

According to the parallel import scheme, it is now possible to import into Russia kits of reagents for cancer treatment under the Miltenyi Biotec brand, perfumes of such brands as Lancome, Redken, Yves Saint Laurent, Helena Rubinstein, Valentino, Giorgio Armani, Kerastase , as well as auto parts from Castrol, Liqui Moly, Datsun, Alienware.

Due to special requirements for the production of medical devices and drugs, some of these products were excluded from the list. Also, Renault cars disappeared from the list, because Avtovaz “undertook to provide warranty service for the brand, including the sale of spare parts,” the department noted.

In July, the restaurateurs presented a proposal to introduce parallel imports of alcohol. According to Russian restaurant owners, stocks of imported spirits from the country will last until early autumn at most.

Earlier, Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov called the parallel import scheme a “temporary solution” and allowed its cancellation. This will happen as domestic products appear on the Russian market to replace imported ones.
