Netgear is expanding its managed wireless access point portfolio with the Insight Managed WiFi 6 AX3000 Dual-band Multi-Gig PoE Access Point (WAX615). Developed for small and medium businesses, this new add-on should, as the name suggests, include dual-band, Wi-Fi6, multi-concert performance, coverage with Netgears Insight remote cloud management, and the manufacturer’s Instant Mesh.
The WAX615 is backward compatible with all previously released Insight Managed wifi5 and wifi6 access points and should guarantee seamless roaming, load balancing and multi-user access, according to the manufacturer. The device comes with a free one-year subscription to Insight for fully centralized real-time setup, monitoring and control. The new access point also features a 2.5 Gbps PoE Ethernet port for wired connectivity and easy setup.
Netgear Insight should make it possible to easily configure and protect your network security with features such as:
- WPA3 Enterprise
- Eight individual SSIDs available
- Individual VLANs for network separation and private swimming lanes
