Gustavo Petro’s image deteriorated after the public debate on ‘social forgiveness’ in nearly half of those consulted, according to the survey, which had a 7% margin of error and a 95% margin of confidence.

Thus, 48 ​​percent of the respondents said that their negative image of the candidate has increased. 21 percent said that the image of the Petro had improved, 31 percent said they did not respond or did not know the details of the issue (Don’t know-Not responding). Medellín (52%), Bucaramanga (50%) and Bogota (49%) are the cities where the largest negative image of the applicant was reported after the offer.

Now, when asked if this proposal changed their voting intentions, the answers were: No, 63%; Yes, 19%; and NS/NR, 18%. Bucaramanga (27%); Barranquilla (26%) and Cali (23%) were the capitals where the most respondents indicated they would change their vote.

On the other hand, Bogota (71%); Medellin (67%) and Cali (64%) said the majority votes would remain as agreed before the scandal.
