Producer Persil and Vernel put Russian assets up for sale

In Russia, the manufacturer has 12 offices and 11 factories throughout Russia. A number of local investors claim Russian assets, the products themselves can be replaced by players operating on the market, reports Vedomosti.

At the beginning of the year, the value of Henkel’s assets in Russia, taking into account the rights to use the brands, was at least 600 million euros. Now, most likely, the price will not exceed 150-180 million euros, even if they are sold to Representatives of Russian, Chinese or Turkish companies, Infoline-Analysts CEO Mikhail Burmistrov said.

According to the head of CORE.XP’s retail department, Marina Malakhatko, Henkel cannot sell its business because it is asking too high a price for the assets. She suggested that the manufacturer does not want to sell assets, but is forced to declare this, since this company is public.
