According to the survey results, half of the participants regularly listened to music (49%) while studying, and 60% were able to concentrate better while playing something in the background.

This trend seems to continue outside of school and university. Two in three Americans admitted to listening to music while working. Most of these respondents feel more productive in this process (89%).

Of those who listen to music while studying, 80% agree that music has a therapeutic effect, and three-quarters believe it helps them absorb information better. 81% of respondents say music helps make learning more fun.
