The growth of the market for the delivery of ready-made rations and kitchen kits in the first half of 2022 slowed to 17%, sales exceeded 9 billion rubles, according to InfoLine data held by RB.RU.

By the end of 2021, the market grew by almost 1.5 times and exceeded 16 billion rubles.

The market for the delivery of prepared rations and food packages slowed growth

The slowdown in growth is associated with limited opportunities for promotion due to the reduction in marketing costs, a decrease in the real income of the population and the transition of buyers to a model of “thrifty” behavior, say analysts at Infoline.

At the same time, the development of alternative sales models (first of all, sales to FMCG retail chains and online stores) was suspended, and several trial projects were restricted due to insufficient demand.
