Aeroflot plans to add 300 Russian planes to its fleet

Aeroflot CEO Sergei Aleksandrovsky announced plans to order 323 Russian-made Sukhoi Superjet, MS-21 and Tu-214 aircraft. The readiness of these aircraft to operate will be a key area for Aeroflot’s development, he added.

Aeroflot will thus receive more than half of all aircraft produced under the program for the development of the transport industry until 2030: a total of 142 Sukhoi, MS and Tu aircraft are planned to be delivered.

The Aeroflot group fleet currently has 353 aircraft, of which the majority (183) are operated by Aeroflot itself, 129 are operated by Rossiya and 41 by Pobeda.

The world’s leading companies, Boeing and Airbus, whose planes are mainly used by Russian carriers, stopped servicing their cars located in Russia and stopped supplying them with spare parts after the start of a special operation in Ukraine.
