The anomalies in the radiation emanating from the center of the SDSS J1430+2303 galaxy could be evidence that two supermassive black holes with a total mass of about 200 million Suns may soon collide. Scientists estimate that this could happen within the next three years.
It is stated that the researchers expect to see a large flash of light across the entire spectrum, even without a detector capable of capturing gravitational waves.
