Scientists prove school bullies are more likely to be criminals in adulthood

The study took into account socio-economic status and possible childhood psychopathy factors. The link between childhood bullying of others and violent crime in adulthood remained quite strong.

This association was observed in both men and women. The relative risk of committing a serious violent crime, such as murder or aggravated assault, was almost three times higher for bullies than for others.
