A report published in Sports Medicine found that walking for 2-5 minutes lowers blood sugar and reduces the risk of developing type 2 diabetes. And right after dinner, you should go for a walk.

Nutritionist Amy Goodson states that exercise, especially for heart health, helps remove blood sugar and makes cells more susceptible to absorbing glucose from the blood. Hence walking after eating or actually exercising and lowering sugar levels.
