If we are to believe some of the leaked images, it looks like Sony is already refreshing the LinkBuds model that was revealed last February. leakers SnoopyTech and The Walkman Blog have come up with photos they believe show the new LinkBuds S, probably because that’s how they’ll likely be called. Unlike the ring shape of the previous tips, the S earbuds have a more traditional design similar to more traditional earbuds, complete with silicone ear tips.

According to SnoopyTech, the LinkBuds S are seamlessly “Switch from ambient noise to advanced noise cancellation and enable autoplay that learns from your behavior.” This is somewhat similar to Adaptive Volume in the original LinkBuds, a feature that increases or decreases volume depending on your environment.

Not much is known about the new headphones, such as battery life, price, and availability. So we’ll have to wait and see if we can hear anything official from Sony soon.
