this SAMSUNG announced this week that its new LPDDR5X DRAM memory modules have been certified by Qualcomm for use on Snapdragon mobile platforms. The biggest innovation of the new line is its speed, Reaching up to 8.5 Gbps and placing modules at the top of the performance ranking currently available on the market.
The small format of these memories associated with high energy efficiency makes LPDDR5X modules the choice not only for mobile phones and other mobile devices, but also for laptops, smart cars and even the high-performance computing segment known as HPC.
In addition to its partnership with Qualcomm, Samsung celebrated the expansion and evolution of technology usage:
“As LPDDR memory continues to expand its scope of use beyond smartphones to AI applications and data centers, strong collaboration between memory and SoC vendors is becoming increasingly important. Samsung will continue to actively team up with innovators such as Qualcomm Technologies to improve ecosystem readiness. LPDDR of the future standards,” said Daniel Lee, vice president of memory product planning at Samsung.
