One month after the announcement of the partial mobilization, the prices of air tickets abroad fell by more than 25%. Flights to Armenia were the ones that fell the most.
Calculations are based on average checks of booked tickets departing from all cities in Russia, regardless of date of issue. The Russians are trying to buy tickets closer to the date of the trip, Tutu.ru told RBC.
At the end of September, a ticket to Armenia could be bought for an average of 58 thousand rubles one way, at the end of October – already for 20 thousand rubles. Flights to Azerbaijan a month ago cost an average of 39 thousand rubles, now – 27 thousand rubles, in September it was possible to fly to Belarus for an average of 14 thousand rubles, in October – for 9 thousand rubles.
Ticket prices to Kyrgyzstan, Turkey and Israel fell by about 25%: Turkish direction – 45.1 thousand rubles, Kazakh – 27 thousand rubles, Tajik – 27.7 thousand rubles.
At the end of September, after the announcement of the partial mobilization, the prices of air tickets abroad skyrocketed significantly, the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR) reported. For example, a one-way Moscow-Tashkent ticket on September 26 cost 322.5 thousand rubles. The price of a ticket from Moscow to Tbilisi with two transfers on September 28 reached 178 thousand rubles one way.
