Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu announced the end of partial mobilization in Russia. He told Vladimir Putin about this.

In total, 300,000 people mobilized. 82,000 of them have already been sent to the special military operations zone. 218 thousand are in military training.

Also, only contract servicemen will be called to the special operations zone, Shoigu said. Military registration and enlistment offices continue to recruit volunteers, the head of the Defense Ministry said.

The Minister of Defense pointed out that 1.3 thousand of those summoned are employees of the executive powers, more than 27 thousand are businessmen. 13,000 went to the front voluntarily, Shoigu said.

All fighters in the special operations zone in Ukraine will receive the status of combat veterans, the minister added.
