Ever since The New York Times acquired the rights to the wildly popular online game Wordle, its cause has turned out to be radical. In it, the heroes hoot a short owl every day, which the creator of the game, programmer Josh Wardle, laid the basis for the principle of transfer, which was transmitted to him with the pleasure of playing it, since he could not predict the result. However, the popularity of Wordle did not bring the concept to extinction, but the time of its birth – it caused the emergence of the COVID-19 pandemic, as a communication tool.
It is the fact that the not-so-observed word-guessing game through a social networking app allows you to reduce the time in quarantine and the conditional uniting of people that has become an interest in it from The New York Times. And the journalist Trace Bennett, who led Slovakia, put it against Isported. Now that the game has an official owner, and even such a wealthy one, a lot of “social activists” are trying to find a reason to accuse the game of the conference, violations and violation of their rights in order to receive compensation.
Bennett complains that almost any word can become “forbidden” due to context. And if cursing, slang, political slogans, advertising, etc. can be immediately weeded out, then what about, for example, the word “fruit”? In normal times, it doesn’t offend anyone, but if there’s a scandalous abortion ban just in case, there’s sure to be someone who’s willing to tie the two up and blame the game’s owners… or anything.
Never put words more difficult – this “belittles” people with a low vocabulary. Light words are quickly guessed, which is also annoying. Owners of different dialects of English complain about the description of different languages. Editorial difficulty of words should increase from Monday to Saturday, but the length of the series of guesses or misses also depresses users, they want variety. Separate combinations are a method of complex words that simply cannot be offered by “poke on the keyboard”, and combinations are those that can be found to a decisive extent. In a word, the work of the editor of a simple game in the words of public public buildings in the daily nightmare.
