The Russian business of McDonald’s logistics partner will be acquired by Alexander Govor, owner of Vkusno-i Tochka. The agreement will include 14 distribution centers.

The Russian business of McDonald’s logistics partner will be bought by the owner of Vkusno, and that’s the point.

The deal was announced by “Tasty – and thats it” in a press release. After the closing of the transaction, which still needs to be approved by the Federal Antimonopoly Service, all assets of Rulog LLC will be transferred to JSC Logistics, period.

All Rulog LLC employees will retain their jobs and the management company will remain unchanged, according to the statement. The agreement will include 14 distribution centers of the logistics company in Russia.

“HAVI distribution centers have been operating on the Russian market since 2008, and during this time the company has proven that it can be a reliable partner in ensuring the logistics of our business throughout Russia,” said Alexander Govor.

Havi Logistics (owner of Rulog LLC) has cooperated with McDonald’s since its foundation in 1976. In Russia, the company was engaged in, in particular, logistics, food supply for restaurant chains, as well as business intelligence and marketing.
