Russian cryptocurrency service MTHUB received $250,000 in funding in a round led by Dmitry Sutormin, co-founder of the YellowRockets fund. RB.RU was informed about this on MTHUB.
The startup was valued at $5 million after the round. The funds will be used to introduce new infrastructure solutions that will allow the company to be more independent from vendors of trading terminals and liquidity providers, MTHUB said.
The MTHUB cryptocurrency broker offers access to trading and investing in various asset classes without surcharge under a subscription model. Payment for the subscription is made using the utility token of the same name. The startup’s focus is on customers in emerging markets.
In May 2022, MTHUB raised $150,000 from Kazan businessman Gleb Yadrintsev for a 10% stake in the project. As a result of this round, the company was valued at $1.5 million.
