Famous hacker George Hotz (Geohot) got a job at Twitter at the invitation of Elon Musk.
It all started after tweet November 16, in which Geohot backed Musk’s ultimatum. The head of Twitter said that employees must work hard or quit.
According to the hacker, “this attitude causes incredible things.” He added that he was ready to take an internship at the company. “Sure, let’s talk” answered Mask.
A few days later, Geohot announced that he had taken a three-month internship at Twitter with a salary equal to the cost of living in San Francisco.
He will inevitably tune in to the search. First of all, the hacker will simplify the advanced search by eliminating the need for users to regularly fill in all the filters.
Geohot was the first in the world to create a jailbreak for the iPhone. He also previously hacked the PlayStation 3, because of which he sued Sony.
In 2015, Geohot began developing Autopilot and tested Elon Musk to use his Comma.ai technology in Tesla. Musk turned it down, but came up with Geohot for a job offer at Tesla. The hacker left to attend to his start. [The Verge]
