The phone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 625 chip. This is a fairly powerful processor that can cope with the latest version of Android in general.

And if Xiaomi itself stopped updating the device immediately after the release of Android 9, enthusiasts brought it the latest Android 13. Currently, several builds are available at once: Spark OS, PixelPlusUI, PixelExperience and ArrowOS.

The main advantage of these custom firmwares is that they contain the most up-to-date security patches. And already a nice bonus is the modern design and various “chips” of the system.
