The 27-year-old man, whose name was not released, bought 300 iPhones on Monday morning at the Apple Store on 5th Avenue. Immediately after leaving the store, it is guarded.
The man was carrying 300 iPhone 13s in three packages. At 1:45, when he approached his car, another car was directed next to him.
Two men jumped out of it and handed over the packages. Not wanting to give away the iPhones, the man got into a fight with the robbers. As a result, he received a strong blow to the face, after which the thieves took away one package. It contained 125 iPhones worth $95,000.
Police said the man often buys iPhones in bulk to resell at his store. Apple Store on 5th Avenue around the clock. The thieves may have followed the man before robbing him.
